Book your lesson before you arrive!

  • During the summer, we tend to book up several days (or weeks) in advance. We encourage you to book your lesson as soon as you have organized your travel to Tofino.

  • In the summer months, our phone lines can get tied up. Booking online is your best option if you know what you would like to book. Please still call us if you are booking within 48 hours of your desired lesson time.

Organize your transportation!

  • Please note that you are responsible for your own transportation to the beach. We cannot provide transportation under any circumstances.

  • The summer season and long weekends are super busy, so give yourself enough time to find parking. Please note that there is now pay parking beaches.

  • Don’t have a car or don’t want to drive? There are several other transportation alternatives including Tofino Taxi, Whistle Taxi and Rideshare, Tiki Bus and a seasonal Free Beach Shuttle

Make a plan!

  • Want to surf? Want to whale watch? Want to go on a kayak tour? Great ideas….as long as they aren’t all in the same day.

  • Make sure to account for travel time and budget extra time for changing, showering, napping. This is your vacation! You don’t want it to be stressful. Make sure to check with each company for when their tours or classes start and end.

Make reservations!

  • We aren’t the only company in town that books up quickly. We encourage you to book any tours or places to eat in advance of your stay.

Visit with Respect!

  • Tofino is located in the traditional territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and is borderd by Pacific Rim National Park. The national park reserve has produced a new video using the Nuu-chah-nulth guiding principles to guide people into visiting this special place with iisaak (respect), uu-a-thluk (taking care of) the people and the land and leaving with a new understanding of hishukish ts’awalk (how everything is one)
